They will pick us up from the airport   (600 NPR)  and they have arranged for our bus  (Baba Adventure!  1335 Rs per person) to Pokhara.  . . .   about a 6 - 7 hour drive!
Sept. 19 - 28
We will be staying at the Mountain Prince Lodge in Sarangkot (1/2 hour from Pokhara)
They will pick us up from the Bus in Pokhara.
Dear Debbie
Thank you for reminding me your reservation, We will arrange your pick up from the tourist bus park in Pokhara, this is half rough driving to the mountain, you need to pay NPR 1000 for the driver all the way up to the top (Hotel) which is just an additional service we can arrange, if you wish but it is the hassle free way for you to escape the crowd and surely by the last minute taxi ask you more then a thousand just for the half way.
We have no merchant facilities to charge your credit cards directly  I don't want you to pass your information at the moment but paypal we do.
please let me know if you want to pay the due and the transport.     (pay 7,192NPR to Mtn. Prince  $88.08 CDN)
Have a great journey.
P.S.
Best Regards

Hello Debbie and Rachel, First of all, I apologize for the long time since your kind email. Thank you for beeing concerned about the lot of Tibetan refugees. Yes, visiting the refugees settlement could be a good experience. Some members of our association will go and visit pupils families in October, in order to hand sponsorships to the pupils ; you will miss them by few days ! There is no problem to visit Paljorling settlement, which is located in the center ofPokhara, just near Prithivi Chowk. The gate is open during the day and you can enter freely. Of course, most of the people speak english, except aged ones, and english is the usual language at school for children (there are special lessons for tibetan and nepalilanguages). Jampaling settlement is larger and is located in the country, about 25 km from Pokhara(direction Kathmandu). You have to take taxi. There is a (rather Spartan) lodge upstairs the office if you want to stay for the night. Here is a first overview. Do not hesitate if you want more details. Best regards.
